Hi John. What beautiful renditions of Rare Breed animals. So few people are doing those. Great web site as well. It looked like you painted some of Pam Heath's precious animals! Thank you!

I was quite surprised to see my wonderful Harley on a greeting card! You captured him perfectly. He is so good at his job. Tim Gardiner saw your card Escort Rider for sale in a shop and bought it for me. It is now proudly displayed in my office on the backstretch of Assiniboia Downs. I plan to get a copy of a few of the cards, put them in a frame and display your website address in case anyone else is interested. They are all fabulous (but I think Harley is the best looking!) Hello John,
As both a fellow artist and a former Winnipegger who is very homesick...I wanted to drop you a line. I found you via the Manitoba Society of Artists website, and have really enjoyed browsing your paintings, particularly the horses. I also paint horses, but I must say you have a very different style than mine and it's a very interesting style of painting. I was surprised to see that you use oils, as your paintings have an almost "illustration-like" quality. They could almost be taken for Watercolour & Ink. VERY nice. I plan on retiring back there in a few years, and look forward to meeting you and seeing your work in person some day.
Regards,
Fran Dales

Thank you again for the lovely card of the polo player in Birds Hill that you gave me at your last appointment. It brings back many happy childhood memories of living in the park where it was just a two minute walk to sit on the hill and watch those magnigicent horses in the polo matches.
Thanks for remembering my story,
Amanda

It is always nice to see that our art supplies are producing such beautiful paintings. I didn't realize how passionate you were about painting horses and I will keep that in mind for any referrals we may be able to pass along to you.
